Tambourine and Kit
Well it was a sad day and an end of a nine year run of using the downtown campus of Georgian College. This campus is closing end of April 2026 and unfortunately the new campus will not be available until 2027. I enjoy having access to the studio as it offered much more room then my home studio.
Kit (31) has the unique distinction of being my last musical instrument model at this location. She is from the local area and a student of the college. She happened to be in the studio doing a product shoot and inquired about my set up. Within 10 minutes she was all in and volunteered to be my next model. A special thanks to Sara P who took the last shot of me and Kit
The tamourine goes back 6,000 to 10,000 BC in Egypt. In the middle ages in Europe the instrument was played by minstrels. The name comes from the French term tambourin (diminutive of drum)
